A Sudden Interest in Luxury Camping in Israel

We have never sought clients for our luxury camping trips in the Negev desert.  We have always provided exclusive holidays for a few clients every year, normally by recommendation alone.

In the last few weeks though we have had a plethora of enquiries from clients in the UK, America, Canada and Holland.  We’re not sure where they have come from, although we seem to be ranking highly in Google, if you are searching for “Glamping Israel”, go figure?

We always do our best to provide the “ultimate” desert experience, it’s what we do.  Some have the budget, some do not.  We do our best for everyone, but what we do is not really for everyone.  Our camps are built on a bespoke basis.  We choose our location based on the client’s requirements; sounds, views, nearby attractions, balloon rides, privacy.  We consider many aspects that are specific to our guests when we pitch camp.

The camp alone is a virtual village.  We don’t just provide beautiful bell tents imported from the UK.  We also have air-conditioned toilets (complete with piped music) and hot showers.  The beds we use are hardwood with soft mattresses, the duvets and covers are Egyptian cotton. We create a separate tented village for the staff.

Our chefs come from Tel Aviv, as do our bar staff, yes we run a bar in camp. We have turnover staff that look after your tent, making beds, renewing the fresh water in your basin and sweeping any dust from your matted flooring. Even your vista furniture is arranged for your evening aperitif.

I could spend time now describing the different activities we arrange during your stay, or the amazing cuisine our chefs prepare for client, but I shall save that for the next instalment.

In our bell tents we provide freshly laundered linen, duvets, mattresses, hardwood beds, fresh towels and, of course, a chocolate on the pillow, but be quick, they melt…

And boy is he! No camp in the desert is complete without a camp camel, and ours is called Henry. When everyone else is on siesta he’s good to have around.

We have the pick of the best camping sites in the Negev and other sites in Israel. Dependent on your requirements (how much noise you want to make) we can provide either amazing views from altitude or solitude in canyons.

We give each tent a space to enjoy the Negev Desert sunrise, or sunset, with a strong coffee/tea or a gin and tonic, respectively, or not…

This space is designed to give our guests some outdoor shade in the day and somewhere to enjoy the evening at night.

We imported a range of furniture into the Negev Desert to make your stay in the desert as comfortable as possible.

Your organiser is on hand for the whole of your Israel experience, he prepares the camp, arranges the tours and activities, overseeing everything.
